Artist’s Passport: Block Printing & Rattle Drums

Embark on an art adventure as we explore cultural art from China and Europe. Admire European wallpaper styles, then design and print our own block pattern. Cultivate the art of writing with Chinese calligraphy. We will learn the importance of movement and flow with a calligraphy-style brush technique, and turn ideas into images. We’ll preserve Chinese characters on a rattle drum. Note: Before and after care provided by Lindbergh 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm.
